New York, NY - November 28, 2005 - CBS Radio News presents the 30-minute CBS News Special Report, “The Record Breaking Hurricane Season,” airing Wednesday, November 30th at 4:00 PM ET and 7:00 PM ET.

This special program focuses on the *25 hurricanes to rise out of the Atlantic Ocean this season, including the most devastating; Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Wilma, Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Emily, to name a few. CBS News Correspondent, Chris Mavridis interviews survivors, evacuees, town officials and weather prognosticators whose predictions suggest that these catastrophic storms may just be the beginning of more to come.
