ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT

New York, NY - October 31, 2005 - Westwood One (NYSE: WON) and POP Radio, LP (Point of Purchase Radio) announced today an agreement by which Westwood One will exclusively represent all POP Radio advertising inventory, effective January 1, 2006. In addition, Westwood One has also acquired an ownership interest as a Limited Partner in POP Radio, LP. POP Radio is broadcast in over 6,000 food and drug stores across America.
