WESTWOOD ONE APPOINTS MAX KRASNY

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF ENTERTAINMENT

New York, NY - October 24, 2005 - Westwood One (NYSE: WON) announced today that, effective immediately, Max Krasny assumes the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Westwood One Entertainment. In this new role, Krasny will be responsible for the management of all entertainment programming, including all production from the Culver City and Valencia studios, as well as Entertainment Sponsorship Sales, and Entertainment Affiliate Sales. Krasny will relocate to Los Angeles where he will be based in Westwood One’s Culver City office.

Krasny is a nine-year veteran of Westwood One and has held a variety of positions with the company ranging from Production and Affiliate Sales roles, including Vice President of Entertainment Sales to most recently New York Sales Manager. Prior to joining Westwood One, Krasny held numerous production and programming roles at Susquehanna and Infinity Broadcasting stations.
