ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR EXTENSION
OF THE LARS LARSON SHOW

New York, NY - September 29, 2005 - Westwood One (NYSE: WON) announced today a multi-year extension of The Lars Larson Show, which airs weekdays on more than 140 radio affiliates nationwide. In addition to flagship station KXL-AM in Portland, affiliates of The Lars Larson Show include: KNEW-AM in San Francisco, KRLD-AM in Dallas, KTTH-AM in Seattle, WNIR-FM in Cleveland, KFMB-AM in San Diego, KSL-AM/FM in Salt Lake City, WORD-AM/WYRD-AM in Greenville, and WSJS-AM in Greensboro.
