ANNOUNCE MULTI-YEAR EXTENSION
FOR WESTWOOD ONE TO CONTINUE
AS THE EXCLUSIVE NETWORK RADIO HOME OF THE GRAMMY® AWARDS
New York, NY - August 22, 2005 - Westwood One (NYSE: WON) and The Recording
Academy® announced today a multi-year extension for Westwood One
to remain The Official GRAMMY® Radio Network Worldwide. As part of
the agreement, Westwood One will retain exclusive terrestrial radio rights
to all GRAMMY Awards programming, as well as exclusive rights to all
remote radio broadcasts from the GRAMMY Awards.

we bring not only the excitement of the GRAMMYs to listeners, but also

on February 8, 2006, from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles includes: the
48th GRAMMY nominations announcement, “Look Back” specials,
nominations specials, and a live remote broadcast from rehearsals.
